Base Camps

Purpose

Base Camps are the small group ministry of Metamorphosis.  As ministries get larger they must, at the same time, provide a smaller environment for greater accountability.  For a climber, a base camp is a place of refuge and rest.  He needs to regroup and strategically plan the next phase of the climb.  A teenager needs a place to connect at a more real relational level.  They need to talk freely of the obstacles that they face and pray and plan their next move in their Christian growth.

Vision

    To invade and impact local high schools with small groups.

Mission

    To establish base camps in every high school and middle school.

    To encourage students to greater growth through small group discussion and the Christian
    discipline of prayer.
